About

A studio, not an agency.

Small on purpose. Senior on purpose. We took the parts of consulting we liked — the craft, the ownership, the demos — and threw out the rest.

Where we started.

Hash Solutions began as two engineers who kept getting asked "can you just build this for me?" at the end of consulting calls. In 2021 we said yes for the first time. In 2026 we're a distributed team of twenty-four across four time zones, with a client roster we chose one at a time.

We work with founders, product leaders, and — increasingly — clinical teams and AI startups betting the company on getting the first version right. Our lane is the middle chapter: after the pitch deck, before the Series B engineering hire.

What we believe.

Ship over polish

A working v0.1 in three weeks beats a perfect spec in three months. We optimize for a feedback loop, not a feature list.

Small, senior teams

Two or three engineers who've done this a dozen times, not eight juniors and a project manager. Every meeting has a decider.

Weekly demos, always

Every Friday, on real hardware, with real data. If something isn't ready, you find out on day 33, not day 90.

Design in the codebase

Figma is a sketchpad. The truth is in the code. Motion, interaction and edge cases only exist once they're running.

Fixed price, fixed scope

We do the discovery, we quote the number, we hit it. Change orders are transparent. No surprises at the invoice.

We stay after launch

Launch is the middle of the movie. SLA-backed support, feature retainers, and a team that already knows your codebase.

How we work.

Remote-first, deeply written. Slack for chat, Linear for work, Notion for decisions, GitHub for truth. Meetings only when async has failed.

Two-week sprints. Planning Monday, demo Friday, retro every other week. You have a Slack channel, a shared Linear board, and a single point of contact who is also senior.

Transparent metrics. Every project has a dashboard: velocity, burndown, error rate, cost per query if we're running AI. You see what we see.
